Final Extension Given on OBSE and PRSF Modules by 31 Dec 2026
Following the SITC 03/2025 meeting held on 3 Nov 2025, the SITC has
endorsed a one-year extension for the completion timeline of the
Operate Basic Security Equipment (OBSE) and Perform Remote
Surveillance Function (PRSF) modules for Security Officers (SOs) and
Senior Security Officers (SSOs) respectively. The revised completion
deadline is now 31 Dec 2026.
Please note that completion of these modules remains mandatory for
continued deployment from 1 Jan 2027 onwards. This represents a final
extension, no further deadline extensions will be considered.
Training Requirements by 31 Dec 2026:
* Existing SOs: TSC Access Control Management - OBSE module
* Existing SSOs: TSC Security Surveillance Management - PRSF moduleWe would appreciate your assistance in reminding the relevant security
officers to complete their respective modules well in advance of the
deadline. Early completion will enable them to secure their preferred
training slots and avoid any last-minute scheduling challenges.
